Putting Rapid Back in Transit

The CTA is eliminating slow zones on the Red Line, which will make your ride faster!

During construction on the subway portion of the route, Red Line trains will run over
the elevated  line instead of the subway between Fullerton and Cermak-Chinatown at
the following times: 

- Weekends, except for holidays and major events

- Most weeknights

Work will be completed at the end of 2008.
