Putting Rapid Back in Transit

The CTA is eliminating all slow zones on the Blue Line to O'Hare!

- During construction, significant delays will occur. Blue Line service will be
interrupted between two or more stations between Addison and O'Hare most weekends and
some weeknights beginning in Spring 2008.

- When service is interrupted, a free bus shuttle will provide service between the
affected stations.

- Temporary closures are necessary to complete construction as quickly as possible.

Slow zone work will be completed in fall 2008. Thank you for your patience, and we
apologize for any inconvenience as we improve the Blue Line.
